Which city in Oregon has now decided to follow Seattle in a high minimum wage?  You might have guessed a bigger one, but it's Milwaukee.

Probably best known for being the hometown of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Champion (and former modified Tri-City Raceway driver) Mike Bliss, the Milwaukee, OR city council unanimously passed a resolution raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour.

HOWEVER, this raise only applies to city workers and contractors who do business with the city.

The move was advocated by an Oregon pro-$15 wage group, called 15 Now PDX.  Justin Norton-Kerston, a group spokesman, said this was "important for the health of our state's economy", perhaps forgetting most of the businesses who do contract or 1099 type work for a city generally have skilled workers who get paid at least a little more anyway.
