Walla Walla police believe they've apprehended two suspects who are linked to a long series of commercial and business break-ins, dating back to September.

Police say at least 19 such incidents have occurred since September at a variety of businesses. An investigation and some tips led them to a storage unit in a complex on Woodland Ave, and then an apartment in the 300 block of Chase Ave.

3 vehicle have also been impounded, and based upon evidence seized, 30-year-old Tisha Place and 34-year-old Robert Frates, both of Walla Walla are in custody and facing multiple counts of malicious mischief, theft, possession of stolen property and burglary. The investigation continues.

Police have not yet released any information about what was found in the storage unit or apartment.
