30 Vehicles Burglarized in Kennewick Over Weekend – Three Suspects Arrested

The Kennewick Police Department reports this rash of thefts occurred in mostly unlocked vehicle.

Saturday, police took reports from 25 victims who reported their vehicles had items stolen from them, some of the victims had more than one vehicle affected.

Cash, coins, tools, keys and wallets were the primary items taken from a wide variety of vehicles.  The one common theme in this spree is that they all occurred between the 2000 Block of South Dayton and South Fruitland in East Kennewick.  Benton County Sheriff’s also report, along with police, of similar incidents the night before.

Police say three juvenile suspects are in custody, and report they’ve recovered items stolen from these vehicles as well as property from other vehicle prowls.  Police are seeking additional information, and it can be anonymously reported to Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers at (509)-586-TIPS.
