She'd come from an area casino with her money, and wasn't about to let it go!

Kennewick police are seeking a suspect who tried to hold up the elderly woman around 2:20am Thursday morning.

She was getting ready to get out of her car in the 100 Block of North Irby, when the suspect approached and punched her several times. He tried to steal her purse and keys, but she fought back. She also began blaring her horn to attract attention, and the suspect fled on foot.

A K-9 unit was dispatched, and followed his trail, but then it went cold. He was described as a black male, probably 25 years old, wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark colored beanie.

And according to reports, she was able to hang on to her purse. You go Nana!
