A new driver a wet parking lot and an urge to have it 'my way' was the cause of an accident at Burger King last night in Kennewick.

Kennewick Police reported that a car that was traveling to fast on wet pavement smashed into the Burger King on 10th and Washington in Kennewick last night at about 10:30 p.m.

At 2236 hours, KPD responded to a collision in which a vehicle ran into the side of the Burger King at 10th Ave./Washington St. causing extensive damage. The investigation revealed that the new driver was driving too fast through the wet parking lot.
