Accident Backs Up Traffic on Highway 240 Near Columbia Park Early Friday

No one was hurt, but traffic was backed up all the way to the eastbound Edison off ramp.

Just after 8 a.m., a man heading to work was merging onto Highway 240 eastbound from the Edison exit. He didn't see another vehicle in his blind spot and the two collided. A white truck rolled into the median.

Traffic was cleared within about 20 minutes.  However, several impatient drivers tried to back up the on ramp or perform u-turns in the middle of the highway!
