Again, poor air quality has cancelled outdoor activities from Prosser to Dayton, and everywhere in between.  NO different in Kennewick.

School officials issued this alert Wednesday, students will be kept indoors in the elementary and middle schools. H.S. practices, space permitting, are being moved inside. For example, the Kamiakin football, cross country and volleyball teams are juggling between their two gyms, the stairs and the downstairs wrestling room.

Here's the alert from KSD, which has also been issued in similar fashion by other districts:

Due to poor air quality in the Kennewick School District, all students will be kept inside during recess, physical education classes, and lunch today.
All middle and high school athletic competitions and activities scheduled for outside are canceled. High school athletic practices and other outside activities will occur as scheduled inside. Due to facility limitations, some middle school practices will be canceled and some will be moved inside. Please contact your specific school for more information.
