Because mommy and daddy got to riled up last year, a historic easter egg hunt in Colorado has been cancelled.

For decades, Bankroft Park in Colorado Springs held an easter egg hunt for hundreds of children, but this year it's not going down.  Last year, hundreds of parents jumped the rope into a childrens-only area trying to ensure their children got eggs, leaving many other little ones "egg-less."    Officials with the Old Colorado City Associates said last year's event "sort of got out of hand."  Rather than ruffle any feathers, the event has will be staged this year, and organizers are not sure if it will be back in 2013.   No word if the Easter Bunny got egg-jacked last year by overzelous parents.
