Agricultural Gas Thief Arrested in Franklin County

Unlike many gas thieves, this guy was using a stolen gas card.

20-year-old Jamie Urbay-Farfan is in the Franklin County jail on charges of theft and breaking and entering after being arrested by county deputies.

He is suspected of breaking into an agricultural building, and is accused of using a stolen gas card to take fuel that was from the accounts of several area farmers. The Basin City man was taken into custody Wednesday.

He was arrested after officials got a tip, and were searching a property near Basin City. Authorities didn't say how much gas he stole.
