This week's Seize the Deal weekly special is one you will want to take advantage of Friday morning!

The great folks at Akridge Pest Control visited our yard, and showed us just what's been crawling around the grass, bushes, and even the house!

We're all aware of ants, spiders, worms and other creatures that don't always make our homes and yards a fun place to be. But we didn't know how dangerous some of them can be.

Especially Hobo spiders.  Akridge showed us where we had several pockets of these potentially dangerous critters in our evergreen bushes. Hobo spiders, they told us, are very prevalent in the Pacific Northwest, and probably the most pesky spider in the Mid-Columbia.  Originally from China, and often mistaken for a brown recluse (which we really don't have) Hobos have virtually no predators to keep them in check in the insect world. They're invasive, aggressive, and unlike most insects, will actually run towards your hand if you disturb their funnel-shaped webs. They're the playground bully of the insect world here.

We didn't know, though, a bite from a mature Hobo, if left unchecked, can cause serious  issues. Unlike black widows, which affect your nervous system, Hobo bites release toxins that can destroy your skin and flesh around the bite point.

Imagine if our little Harley were playing around the bushes, and got bitten. Not a good thought! BUT Akridge applied an impressive and thorough "blast" of serious pest control all over the bushes, eaves, awnings and everywhere else bugs like to live.

Sure, you could spend tons of money on sprays, home remedies and chemicals yourself; but not know if they worked, or if you're doing it right. Trust Akridge to get rid of the bugs.

Watch our videos and learn why this week, you NEED to log on to seizethedeal.com and take advantage of the HALF-PRICE spray special with Akridge Pest Control. We were impressed, and feel a lot better knowing the unfriendly pests will be held at bay this spring and summer.  Log on Friday morning, and take advantage of this great special!
