She was last seen Wednesday getting into her boyfriend's car.

Kennewick Police Sgt. Ken Lattin said Thursday the girl was seen around 11:15 a.m. as she left her school for lunch, but did not return.

When she didn't come home, her mother reported her as missing around 4 p.m. According to Sgt. Lattin:

Today (Thursday), the mother of Elizabeth Ramero received text messages from an unknown phone number from a person identifying herself as Elizabeth, basically stating that she was headed to Mexico with her boyfriend. The mother asked the unknown text caller to send a current photo of herself. That request was ignored."

Ramero's boyfriend has been identified as 19-year-old Edward Fabien Flores Rosales, 5' 9" tall, who weighs approximately 225 lbs. with brown hair and eyes. The suspect vehicle is a mid 2000s Ford Escape, forest green with a temporary license tag in the window.

The victim, Elizabeth Ramero, is 5' 3" tall, about 130 lbs, with brown hair and eyes.

The U.S. Border Patrol has been alerted and Lattin says there is probable cause to arrest him for kidnapping.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to call Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers at (509)-586-TIPS (8477).
