The Pasco Police Department invites Pasco residents and people who work within the city to apply for the 2013 Spring Citizen Academy.

The Academy classes will be held every Tuesday for 8 weeks beginning March 5 from 7:00 p.m.—9:00 p.m., through April 30.  Applicants must be a resident in the City of Pasco and/or be employed (or attend school) within the City of Pasco.  Applicants must also be 18 years of age or older and pass a criminal background check.  The classes are free.

The Citizen Academy will teach the many functions of the Pasco Police Department. The department’s Crime Scene Investigator will teach students how evidence tells the story of what really happened at a crime scene.

The Pasco Police Department encourages citizens to become involved!  For more information, or for an application, call Kim Keltch at 544-3068, or visit the Citizen Academy page on the City’s web site.
