The Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce is presenting a special seminar Sept. 24.

As part of their ongoing Business Development University series, the chamber presents, "The Affordable Care Act: Understanding and Preparing for the Imact," at the Tri-Cities Business and Visitor Center at 7130 W. Grandridge in Kennewick.

The seminar, which will run from 1-3 p.m., will feature a number of guest speakers who will lay out what business owners need to know about the implementation of Obamacare. Despite the one-year delay you've heard so much about, there is much area business owners need to be aware of, including:

  • Understanding how businesses with 50 or less employees will be impacted
  • Identify the difference between public and private health care exchanges
  • Learn about available subsidies
  • Realize how those who are on Medicare now, or will be, are going to be affected.

To receive more information, or to register, contact the Tri-City Regional Chamber at 509-736-0510 or send email to: info@tricityregionalchamber.com

This seminar is presented by sponsor Bank Reale. By calling or emailing you can also receive information about other informational events as part of the chamber's Business Development University designed to help business owners maximize their growth and potential.
