City Market robbery suspect caught, he's a 16-year-old (Kennewick police)

Kennewick police say they have identified and apprehended a suspect in the recent armed robbery of the City Market at 4th and Rainier.

New Years Eve the suspect entered the store around 8:45pm and allegedly shoplifted. When confronted by the clerk, the masked man displayed a weapon and left the store. Police tried tracking him with a K-9 unit but were not able to locate him.

He'd last been seen running South on Rainier street. Then, due to tips and investigation,  police said the suspect had been identified and is in custody. His name was not revealed, but he is a 16-year-old juvenile.
