A WSU Tri-Cities student in her "Interactive Media" class was asked to create an event that would involve the community. A fan of RadCon and other local events for lovers of Anime, video games and fantasy media, she decided to host a charity fundraiser featuring a video game tournament, anime drawing contest and co-splay dress-up contest!

Sage Giulio's event is called AtomiCon and it is this Sunday, Nov. 15, mostly at the Uptown Shopping Center in Richland. Various events will take place at Sunken Treasures Games, Adventures Underground and Caterpillar Cafe.

The portions of the event requiring a fee will donate the money to two charities: Hope for the Day and To Write Love on Her Arms.
