Mike Adams

Mike Adams is a literary slop zombie; a mutt breed of surrealism and violence; a man who likes his metal heavy and his rock southern. In May of 2007, he boldly published a book of maniacal short stories entitled ‘Toilet Bowl Soup: Redneck Tales from the Armpit of America’ - selling more than 10,000 copies worldwide. However, in 2010, he released ‘Toilet Bowl Soup: The Holy Sh*t’, which sold about 100 copies - if you count close friends, relatives and other people who felt sorry for him. Mike Adams also co-stars in the films ‘Watch Out’, ‘Phone Sex’, ‘Wamego: Ultimatum’, and ‘Trust Me’. He has also contributed music to the movie “It Came from Trafalgar” starring Hank Williams III and Gunnar Hansen from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Mike Adams currently resides in Southern Indiana where he writes for a number of Townsquare Media websites, HIGH TIMES, Playboy's The Smoking Jacket, and Hustler magazine.

Is Your Car One of the 7 Million Toyota Is Recalling?

Toyota Motor Corporation announced on Wednesday that it will recall more than seven million vehicles to fix a power window issue that the manufacturer says could present a risk for fire.

According to a press release issued by the Japanese automaker, the voluntary recall is to inspect and apply special fluorine grease to the driver’s-side Power Window Master Switch (everyone's favorite car part) because it may become “notchy” when operated.

Everyone has something they'd like to ask the candidates at the next presidential debate. But if you're brave enough to stand up in that highly televised forum and ask the age-old question “Sausage or pepperoni?”—free pizza for life shall be your reward.

Pizza Hut and its Pizza Party announced on Tuesday that they will provide a lifetime of free pizza—the option of one large pizza a week for the next 30 years, or a check for $15,600—to any attendee who asks either candidate this simple question during the live town hall format presidential debate on October 16 at Hofstra University.

Chicago Considers ‘Violence Tax’ on Guns and Ammo

City officials in Chicago are considering a proposed “violence tax” on guns and ammunition in hopes that it will help shade in the gray areas of a $115 million black hole in the city’s budget and police the number of guns in circulation on the streets. This has Second Amendment supporters ticked off because sources say the proposed tax will increase the prices of these items exponentially, even though no one yet knows what the tax would be.

Most of us intuitively know that insulting your boss on Facebook is probably not the best idea, but what about other job-related opinions we have? More to the point, can you be fired for posting them?

Credit Card Delinquencies Reach 11-Year Low — Dollars and Sense

These days more credit card customers are paying their bills on time than they have over the course of the last decade.

A report released earlier today by the American Bankers Association indicates that delinquencies on credit cards are currently at an 11-year low, with only 2.93 percent of credit accounts reported past due by 30 days or more. These figures come in substantially under the 3.91 percent 15-year average.

So, what’s with all of the newfound responsibility?

Pee Wee Football Coach Accused of Paying Players to Injure Opponents

Kids wanting to be just like their athletic heroes is nothing new, but a Pop Warner football coach emulating the New Orleans Saints' "Bountygate" program, where players were paid extra to injure members of the other team? That's a twist. A very upsetting twist, if you ask the parents of the 10- and 11-year-olds who got the short end of this deal.

Reports made earlier last week allege that Darren Crawford, head coach of the Tustin Pee Wee Red Cobras, offered his players cash bonuses up to $50 for the "hit of the game," sometimes awarding even more if the opposing team's best player was hit so hard he had to leave the game.
