Authorities Still Seeking Check Fraud Thief-UPDATE- Suspect in Custody

Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers are still seeking this guy. (UPDATE-see below)

Richard I. Vinson is still being sought by police in connection with the theft of checks, which are then forged for cash, among other crimes.

Vinson is also wanted for Failure to Appear for Domestic Violence Assault, and Escape from Community Custody. Authorities say he's committed some recent mail thefts, and check fraud. He takes stolen checks, alters them and cashes them.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (509)-586-TIPS. All leads and information is confidential.

 UPDATE- Tuesday morning Kennewick police reported Vinson is now in police custody. No other details were released.
