Dutchmen manufacturing is going to move potentially hundreds of workers to Pendleton.

Dutchmen Manufacturing, one of the most well-known recreational vehicle manufacturers, is closing plants in Clackamas, Oregon and Burley, Idaho, and moving workers to Pendleton OR.

The Indiana-based company plans to offer the 323 affected workers an opportunity to relocate to the Pendleton plant.  It was chosen, say company officials, because of upgraded production lines, and a number of on-side vendors they have relationships with for products and services.

Dutchman builds a number of well-known RV, camper and trailer brands, including Coleman, Denali,  Comfort, Voltage, Aerolite, Kodiak, Rubicon as well as it's namesake.

Company officials said the Burley, ID plant will be closing November 15th.  Pictured is the Dutchmen manufacturing plant in Goshen, Indiana.
