Clackamas County, OR officials are calling it "bewildering," referring to the extensive and bizarre array of stolen items found inside and Oak Grove, OR home. Authorities say they've never seen such a mixture and variety of unrelated theft property.

Police and SWAT team members raided the home after a lengthy investigation led them to arrest 58-year-old Dan "Pops" Wolf, as well as a 24-year-old woman and 26-year-old man. The investigation was helped along after police began receiving complaints from neighbors about junk and debris piling up in Wolf's yard. Some of the complains hinted the neighbors thought the items might have been stolen.

According to NW Cable News, police are not sure why Wolf and his accomplices took the wide variety of unrelated items:

"Authorities found quite the odd collection of stolen items inside the home, including a former Navy corpsman's seabag and uniforms, a coin-operated carousel, an electric pottery wheel, tiling supplies, a chainsaw and several other power tools. They also found one bicycle and “dozens of additional bicycles in the home in various stages of disassembly,” according to Detective Sgt. Dan Kraus with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office."

The three people were arrested on probation charges, officials are still in the process of reuniting the stolen items with their owners. Except for most of the dozens of bikes, the uniforms, pottery wheel, chainsaws and numerous other items have been able to be given back to their owners.

What Wolf was planning to do with the items, and why he and his accomplices stole them in the first place is still unknown to authorities.
