Just before 5am Wednesday, Kennewick police and emergency crews were called to a watery scene.

Officials responded to a report of a mass of water flowing down the street in the 800 block of South Fir Street.

Upon arrival, crews discovered what appeared to be a break in a large probably six inch water line.

Police helped cordon off the area, crews went to work, and hope to have the break fixed by end of day, if possible.

And, a lot of folks in the area will have to skip the shower today. Video from KPD of the water flowing everywhere.
