The investigation continues, but Oregon officials say it's a big bust!

Friday,  Oregon State Troopers stopped a motorist on Highway 97 North of Madras, OR for speeding through a construction zone.

An investigation during the traffic stop revealed 3 sealed vacuum bags hidden in the vehicle containing 20 pounds of liquid methamphetamine, which can later be converted to a solid form.

Police didn't know the street value, but it's estimated to be potentially in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

DEA officials say the last few years,  literally tons of the liquid drug are coming in from Mexico, or coming up from CA.   The liquid form is cooked into crystal meth, the most profitable and addictive form of the drug.

25-year-old Silvestre Rivera Frenandez of South Gate, CA was arrested and is facing possession and delivery charges of a controlled substance.
