With the help from some citizens and sharp eyes, Kennewick Police and other law enforcement officers nabbed a multiple car prowl suspect.

29-year-old Justin Robert Knight is in the Benton County jail facing vehicle prowling, resisting arrest and theft from a vehicle charges after he was chased through West Kennewick Monday night.

Around 11:23 Kennewick police received a report of a suspect seen sitting in a car in the 6400 block of West Clearwater.   Officers determined Knight had broken into the car, and witnesses said he was still in the area.

Police attempted to apprehend him he ran across the railroad tracks and ended up in the 6500 block of West Deschutes.   After receiving assistance from the Benton County Sheriffs office,  and some tips from citizens,  Knight was found inside another car in the 400 block of North Quay St.  He put on clothes he found inside the second vehicle in an attempt to change his appearance.

He was arrested and booked into the jail.  The clothing he was originally spotted in earlier were found at a nearby business close to the arrest site.
