Car Stolen from Spokane Recovered in Kennewick, Driver Busted

We're thinking there had to be a tip involved here somehow.  Kennewick Police CAT (Criminal Apprehension Team) officers were conducting extra patrols Wednesday evening, when they came across a car reported stolen from Spokane. It was sitting in the parking lot at Winco Foods on Clearwater.

The car was taken within the week, and officers surrounded it. The driver inside, Aldo Vargas Moreno, refused to get out, and was 'removed' by the officers. The Mercury Sable will be returned to it's rightful owner, and Mr. Moreno will be enjoying his stay in the ReBar Motel at the Benton County Justice Center.

Officers didn't say what transpired to result in the car ending up here in Tri-Cities.
