Kennewick Man Drifted Off 240 Smashing into Trees at Columbia Park Golf Course
Thursday morning at about 10 a.m. a 40-year-old Kennewick man drifted off west-bound 240 in Kennewick into Columbia Park Golf Course. He struck a stump, which spun his 2002 Subaru and slammed his door against a tree. According to Washington State Trooper Brian Mihelich, it took 35-40 minutes for fire crews to remove him from the the car. The roof was removed and thrown behind the vehicle. He is at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The stump he hit was ripped out of the ground and thrown several feet away. The airbag deployed.

SEATTLE (AP) — The man who is trying to bring the NBA's Sacramento Kings to Seattle says fans have requested 44,000 season tickets in the event the team actually relocates. Hedge fund manager Chris Hansen had urged Seattle fans to join a "priority ticket waitlist" to show the NBA how strong support is for bringing professional men's basketball back to the city and calls the result "nothing short of stunning
