We had an awesome time Aug. 3 out at Horn Rapids Motorsports Complex at the Tire Factory's Black Widow Mud & Sun Run. It was five miles of over a dozen obstacles attended by hundreds of runners. You likely saw photos or video in the newspaper or nightly news. Here are the images our very own Jon Halvorson took along the course.

With between three and four hundred folks taking and meeting the challenge of the Tire Factory "Black Widow Mud & Sun Run" on Saturday, August 3rd, it can be declared not only a success but fun as well.

With all the hubub over the new Royal Baby, we thought we'd share a photo that was leaked to us.

We've come across a ton of cute stuff in our time, like baby owls and sleepy kiddos. But we're going out on a limb here and claiming our latest finds are among the most adorable. Guys, it's animals with their teddy bears. Aww, come on now!

Or maybe 'Star Wars' gets you all jazzed. Heck, make a Lego scene to reflect those feelings! It's all fun in our books, and we're especially fans of the offbeat type of art, like that of the banana variety.

If we all didn't love anthropomorphic animals so much, there's no way Disney would be as successful as it is. It turns out there's something better than cartoon animals acting like people though -- real animals acting like people.
