NFL “Redskins” Protestors Now Targeting Radio Stations Carrying Games

You knew this just wasn't going to go away.   Having been largely stopped in their demands to change the name of the NFL's Washington Redskins,  protest groups have now launched an attack on affiliate stations who carry the games.    These groups are launching petitions, asking the FCC to refuse to renew these station's broadcast licenses unless the name is changed, or they stop airing the contests!

Tri-Cities Should Seriously Reconsider Studded Tires [OPINION]

When I lived in Alaska everyone had studded tires and when the temperature never gets above freezing all winter long and the road stays white with frozen snow, they are a huge benefit. But honestly, in a place like the Tri-Cities, where they're great on a few icy mornings and that's it... I don't think it's worth the noise or the ripping up of the road to get studded tires.
