Congressional staffers to a Washington House Of Representatives legislator in D.C. were fired after it was discovered they were drinking on the job, and posting comments on twitter.

According to a spokesman for Representative Rick Larson (D-WA)  the NW Daily Marker, a conservative blog on the web, began publishing the tweets from three of Larson's staff members Thursday, who were allegedly drinking Jack Daniels, partying, and making less than savory remarks about their boss on twitter. Spokesman Bryan Thomas said the Congressman was notified of the remarks and behavior of the staffers Thursday afternoon, and within an hour they were fired. One of the 3 fired staff had tweeted that they could not even pass a field sobriety test at that time.
