Coroner Report Released in Killing of Two Kennewick Teens

Coroner releases report on Kennewick shootings

Thursday, the Benton County Coroner released the results of autopsies done on the two Kennewick youth who were found shot to death in their home earlier this week.

John Hansens’ report indicates the 16-year-old  Kate Austin, died from multiple gunshot wounds to her head and toroso,  while the 12-year-old Ethan Austin, died from a single gunshot to the head.

According to authorities, and the coroner’s report, there is no evidence “at this time” to indicate anyone else was involved in the shootings.

The investigation continues.
