At the most recent Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho, city council meeting Councilman Steve Adams got into a heated exchange with City Attorney Mike Gridley.   According to Adams, Gridley got within a foot of his face and called him a moron.

Adams called 911, and asked police to make a “citizens arrest.” He said, “The city attorney is threatening me.” Apparently Mayor Sandy Bloem didn’t think highly of Adams calling emergency dispatch. She allegedly raised her fist at Adams and threatened to punch his nose “off his face.”

Adams admits calling 911 might have been excessive.

What were they arguing about? How the city would pay for the overhaul of the sewage treatment plant!
