Maybe the cow saw too many Chik Fil' A commercials.

In a bizarre turn of events, a cow escaped from a Pocatello, Idaho butchers shop,  refused to be captured, eventually leading police on a wild chase through the city's North Side.

According to sources,  the animal escaped from Anderson Custom Pack on Friday.   Animal control officials were not able to corral the cow, in fact, the large 1,000 lb. animal rammed into the animal control vehicle and two patrol cars!

After chasing the animal through the streets for some length of time, officers eventually shot the animal, saying it had posed a safety hazard especially after ramming the numerous vehicles.

The cow had been been scheduled for slaughter that afternoon.   The cow was finally taken down over three miles from the shop.  The cow's "excursion" only delayed the inevitable.
