Dead Body Causes Traffic Snarl Near Argent–UPDATE

Traffic was backed up Sunday afternoon in Pasco after a dead body was discovered near Argent and 395.

The body was in the traffic median.

Pasco Police are investigating the scene. At the time of this post, they did not know how the body got there or what happened to that person. They did say it was very suspicious.

UPDATE---authorities now say the man, in his 20's, was apparently walking along Highway 395 when he was struck sometime between 2am and 11am, when his body was discovered. The vehicle that him him left behind a fog light and some other debris, and police are now investigating it as a criminal hit and run.
