What if we told you a dead man is "digging" up campaign money for President Obama? Before you spew your coffee across the room, or anywhere else you may be,  no, bin-Laden has NOT come back from the dead.  But that really IS Osama bin-Laden asking for campaign money for Obama.

The whole thing was a very clever experiment set up by World Net Daily staffers to test foreigners ability to donate to the Presidential campaign.  Under U.S. election law, foreign donors are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to donate, and acceptance of foreign donations for a Presidential campaign is illegal.

The WND test was set in motion after media reports indicated it was very easy for overseas sources to donate money to Obama, and a watchdog group claiming Obama was seeking overseas money by way of the campaign's social media sites-a very clever ploy.

Using what is called a proxy server by way of Pakistan, WND staffers were able to clone an Obama donation screen, and it exactly mirrors millions of such solicitations sent out by the campaign.   So much so,  the 'Osama bin-Laden' email actually was able to be used to contribute money!   From the WND story:

“Bin Laden’s” foreign donors page was not removed by the Obama campaign after a WND report earlier this week exposed how the same “bin Laden” account had successfully donated twice to Obama’s presidential re-election campaign. After the WND report, one of the donations was officially returned while another is listed as pending.

The “bin Laden” foreign donors page was still active even after “bin Laden” sent an email to the Obama campaign yesterday alerting them to “his” page."

If a team of news reporters (although very clever) can set up a ruse campaign e-mail and actually make it work, imagine how easy it could be for illegal foreign contributors to get money to Obama.    They don't have to be 5 or six-figure amounts,  but perhaps thousands of small donations that add up.  Here's why that is possible, from the WND:

While the website only has options for U.S. states and zip codes, there is no mechanism in place on Obama’s website to verify the individual is actually located in that state or zip code, or even in the U.S.

The Obama campaign refuses to release the identification of donors who give less than $200.

Because of the lack of verification programs not built into the system, (as said above) it is quite possible Obama has received foreign contributions.  However, it may never be known if, how many, and how much money has been taken in.
