Did You Hear About the Hooters Waitress Who Sued Employer Over Yoda Doll? [PHOTO]

Apparently this occurred in 2002, but I saw it on Facebook this week, and just had to share. A Hooters restaurant in Florida promised a “Toyota” to the winner of an employee contest to sell the most beer in a month. Jodee Berry, 26 at the time, won and was blindfolded and brought out to the parking lot for her prize: a “toy Yoda.” Yeah, she quit and sued. A news story from the time said her lawyer was able to get a settlement — enough to buy a real Toyota. The manager claimed that it was all an April Fools joke. Ha ha. Who’s laughing now?
