It was nearly an all day 'event' for Pasco police, but they got their man-and possibly more than they expected!

After receiving a dispatch tip about a possible gun being stolen from a home, police arrived at the location Sunday, and saw a black four-door Saturn pulling out of the driveway and speeding away.

After chasing the car for nearly 15 blocks, the vehicle struck a parked car alongside the street near 17th and Yakima Streets. The drive fled, but police surrounded the block and called for a K-9 Unit from Benton County.

After narrowing the search down to two homes, police were able to arrest 20-year-old Geovanny Blanco on multiple outstanding warrants. Police found a large amount of meth inside the home as well. Although they were not able to initially tie him to the car chase Sunday, Blanco WAS involved in a high-speed pursuit in Pasco a week ago.

The investigation continues.
