Dramatic Flipover Accident Injures Driver

A driver heading along on 10th in Kennewick between Olympia and Garfield Tuesday evening apparently hit a parked car, and wound up flipping their vehicle.

Fortunately Kennewick Fire crews were able to extricate the driver, but not before they were trapped in the car for a few minutes.

The driver was transported to TRIOS Southridge ER, but the extent of their injuries was not known. The Kennewick Police Traffic Unit is investigating, no word of any possible charges.  Police are crediting the efforts and quick work of the Kennewick Fire crews for getting the adult driver out quickly and to the hospital, preventing further trauma.
