Ok, we NEVER advocate driving drunk or impaired. Now that we have that taken care of, the story. Thursday night, an impaired driver did a very unwise thing-he pulled out in front of and cut off a patrol car!

Thursday evening, Kennewick police probably had one of the easier DUI arrests so far this year.

Officer Rosser was on patrol eastbound on Clearwater, when an obviously intoxicated motorist pulled out right in front of Rosser's car, likely forcing him to take evasive action or at least slow down.

Obviously, Rosser followed the driver for a short distance to observe, and saw 47-year-old Miguel Uriostegui swerve back and forth a number of times.

Rosser pulled him over, and he ended up being arrested and booked for DUI in the Benton County Jail.
