Drunk Driver Busted After Shooting Gun While Cruising

Officials say it's fortunate nobody was hurt by this crazy drunk driver.

Around 7:16am, police responded to reports of a man driving erratically, and firing a gun out his window.

The car was first spotted driving crazily near 27th and Ely, then another witness said they saw him shoot several runs out of his window from a handgun.

The black sedan was stopped near West 33rd and Ely. 21-year-old Benjamin Garcia was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, and police found several guns inside his car. He's also facing charges for discharging a gun inside city limits. Several passengers in the vehicle were released. The investigation continues.
