Authorities continue to investigate a Monday afternoon incident in which an inebriated woman driver lost control of her SUV, and buried it up to the "B" pillar in a Pasco home.

Police say around 3:45pm., 29-year-old Amy Elizabeth Staats was driving her Yukon near the intersection of Jefferson and Grant Streets. She lost control, sped across the yard, and struck this home.

Fortunately, no one was home so nobody inside was hurt. However, a 7-year-old in the SUV with Staats was treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries and then released to another family member. Staats is facing a plethora of significant charges, including possible child welfare and endangerment issues.
