Maybe he was channeling his inner Little Engine That Could. In this case, his car couldn't.

Police say the man who peeled over a light pole, tore up his car, then tried to drive it away from the scene was  drunk behind the wheel.

Issac Miller of Richland struck a light pole around 2:08am Saturday morning near the intersection of Fruitland Street and Columbia Drive.

He reported ran over the sturdy pole, then tried to drive away. But his vehicle was so badly damaged, it was shedding parts and fluids and he only got about one block before it completely gave up the ghost. He was arrested for DUI and will likely also face fines to repair the damage he left behind him.
