Wasn't the best weekend for this guy...

Benton County Sheriff's say Ward Moberg was trying to make a right hand turn from Ranch Road onto Canal Road in West Richland when he missed the corner.

His truck ended up in the nearby dry irrigation canal. After traveling several hundred feet through the trench, looking for a shallower place to get out, he thought he saw one.

He gunned his truck to try to get up the slope, but then then plowed into a concrete block, most likely a junction or support box of some kind. The impact rolled his truck. Sheriff's deputies at the scene say he was arrested for DUI, and is likely facing a LARGE tow bill for getting his truck out of that one.

Fortunately, he was not injured in the mishap.
