Four people were hurt, several of them more seriously, when a suspected drunk driver failed to yield Sunday night.

Around 7pm, 46-year-old Ruben Melchor-Reyes was Northbound on A Street in Pasco when he failed to yield to another vehicle at the intersection of Highway 12.

He was hit by another car coming on Highway 12 towards A street. Reyes, of Nampa, Idaho, was not hurt, but his 69-year-old female passenger Marina Hernandez was taken to Kadlec with undisclosed injuries.

Several people in the other vehicle, driven by Rosie Sanchez, were injured, including her two children, ages 16 and 10. They were taken to TRIOS ER Southridge.  Reyes, says the State Patrol, is facing DUI charges.
