One of the most dependable receivers in Seattle is reportedly shopping for another team, according to a Tweet from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Schefter, who along with Chris Mortenson, is considered one of the top 3 NFL insiders when it comes to breaking accurate news, sent a Tweet that read:

"Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse reiterated Thursday that he does not plan to return to Seattle and is looking forward to finding a new home."

Kearse, a rare player in that he is playing professional football in the same city he attended college (UW) has spent his entire career in Seattle. He also played at Lakes High School in Tacoma before going to the Huskies, and signed as an undrafted free agent with Seattle in 2012.

In four years, he started 47 of 53 games, had 112 receptions, 109 the last three years, and 10 career touchdowns, five of them in 2015. Despite other players scoring more, Kearse had a knack for making the big catch, and had some scores that turned games or were game winners, including the overtime game-winning TD vs. Green Bay in the 2014 NFC Championship.

If the reports are true, his departure would leave a gaping hole in Seattle's receiving corps.

Kearse earned $2.3 million last season, is reportedly looking for something in the $4-plus million per year neighborhood.
