European car buyers will soon be able to same lots of "euros" when the cheapest car, the new Lada Granta, will go on sale this late summer or fall. The only problem?  Soviet Leader Vladimir Putin had to try five times to get it to start...

According to autospeedmarket.com the car is a merging of French Renault technology with the Soviet Lada automaker.  The car is touted as the "cheapest car" available. European leaders hope it will boost auto sales with struggling consumers. Real Clear Politics grabbed the less than stellar technological moment on video.  Imagine if this happened in the US!  The car would never make it to the showroom.
