FBI Informant Credited With Stopping Occupy Bomb Plot
Authorities recently broke up a plot in Cleveland, OH, that resulted in the arrest of five people. It was the result of an FBI informant who infiltrated Occupy Cleveland.
26-year-old David Wright was the 'go-between' from the FBI informant to the four men who were largely responsible for the plan to attack and blow up a Cleveland area bridge. Several other targets were considered by the group of five men. A local justice center was rejected because a bomb might hurt the inmates. Four of the five men were actively involved in the Occupy Cleveland movement according to their Facebook accounts and other social media. The five men apparently began their plan to blow up the bridge in October 2011, when they met at an Occupy Cleveland rally.
