Authorities didn't say if the occupants were legal medical marijuana patients, but judging from the amount of marijuana seized from a Pasco residence, perhaps not.

Federal agents and Pasco police raided a home in the 600 block of Madrona Avenue, and ended up taking 14 bags of pot!  The occupants claimed it was medical marijuana, but state law only allows a small amount of plants to be grown for such purposes.

Judging from the 14 large bags, it's quite possible the occupants had exceeded that limit. This was the same home where a 16-year-old juvenile was shot by the homeowner after allegedly trying to steal buds from the plants in the middle of the night.

The investigation continues. The raid was conducted Monday.
