Drunk Felon With Illegal Gun Caught After He Almost Crashed Into Kennewick Police Cruiser

Saturday night a Kennewick police officer was nearly hit by a gold 1995 Oldsmobile 88. The officer stopped Carlos F. Dominguez, age 23, of Richland and discovered he has a felony conviction.

Preparing to cite the man for reckless driving. The officer saw Dominguez acting suspiciously trying to hide something under his seat. The officer applied for a telegraphic warrant to search the car and found he was in possession of an illegal firearm.

Dominquez was booked into the Benton County Jail for a DUI, Driving While License Suspended and recommendation for the charge of Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
