Find Out How an Elk Killed a Horse in Oregon

Wolf packs have been growing and becoming more aggressive in northeast Oregon. So when ranchers near Imnaha found one of their horses dead, they assumed wolves.

The problem was no bite marks. In fact, the mortal wounds looked more like punctures. And the only tracks nearby were those of elk.

Oregon Dept. of Fish & Wildlife say bull elks are aggressive this time of year.
