As part of their observations for Veterans Day,  Riverview High students are going to be a part of a very patriotic event that is starting to go viral.

Beginning Friday, tomorrow, at their assembly at 2pm, the students will be participating in the Pledge of Allegiance Challenge to show their support for men and women in the military service.

Much like the Ice Bucket Challenge, the I-Pledge Challenge urges people or groups to record themselves on video saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  They then challenge at least three other people or groups to do it, and it spreads.

Such groups as Camp Patriot, Folds of Honor, Operation Gratitude and others are part of the effort.  It's to show your support for military men and women, and to show we've got their back.

Why not gather a group of friends and do it yourself?  Again, you can find out more by clicking here for the I-Pledge website.
