Fire Nearly Takes Out Kennewick Home, Fire Crews Save It

Kennewick fire crews were able to keep a fast moving fire from spreading to a home, but the blaze consumed a pergola and structure not attached to the home Monday.

Crews responded to the 200 block of South Harrison, and found this structure in flames.  They didn't say what triggered the fire, but were able to confine it away from the home. The structure is a total loss.

No one was injured in the fire.
