Five People Now Charged in WA Trooper Killing
Authorities have now arrested five people in connection with the fatal shooting of a Washington State Patrolman Thursday.
Trooper Tony Radulescu was shot during a traffic stop near Gorst, a small town close to Bremerton. He had pulled over Joshua Blake who then apparently shot the officer. Blake later shot himself in a home as police were closing in. Five people, including Blake's girlfriend, 18 year old Jesse Leigh Foster, have been charged with rendering assistance to Blake in his attempt to avoid authorities. Radulescu was discovered by other troopers after he did not respond to radio calls following the traffic stop. Blake was discovered to be in a home in Kitsap, about five miles from the shooting, but killed himself before SWAT teams could enter the house.
